Sketching at FCBD

Free Comic Book Day was, in the words of Brave and the Bold’s Aquaman, Out-rageous! I’ve been to many FCBD events before, but this was the first time I had the privilege to set up shop on the other side of the table.  Everyone who came by my table had good things to say about Dilemma Comics and were very patient as they waited for their FCBD sketches.  I was asked to do all sorts of heroes and even a few other creatures throughout the day.  It was a blast!  Thanks to all who came by the table and Ultimate Comics for making FCBD such a huge success and great day!

Back in Action!

Wow! It’s hard to believe it’s been a year since I’ve been able to do anything with Dilemma Comics.  Last year right after the NC Comicon in March, I got the news that I would need surgery for a brain tumor.  It would be the third time I’d had brain surgery in 5 years.  As you can imagine,  Dilemma Comics and other things were put on hold.  I’m glad to say that everything went well with the surgery and recovery, and after a routine MRI checkup today, I had no brain tumors at this time.  So after thanking God and sharing the news with family and friends,  I thought I’d pass on the good news here!  Hopefully now I can get my comic, the Mastersons, back on track soon!  Even though I haven’t been able to concentrate time and effort on Dilemma Comics, I have been sketching and hope to post some of the stuff here in the gallery.  The other big news I’ve got to give you is that I’ll be doing sketches at Free Comic Book Day at Ultimate Comics in May!  I’ll be sure to post more information as I know a little more about the big day!   Until next time!

NCComicon Huge Success!

The debut of Dilemma Comics at NCComicon was outstanding! I’d like to thank all those who came by the table at the show on Saturday. It was great to meet you all and get some positive feedback about the Mastersons and the art. You’ll definitely be seeing more of Dilemma in the future. I’d also like to thank Ultimate Comics for putting on a first class con. Pictures of the con will be up soon!
